     Pantyhose under my wedding gown.

My MOH's are shocked that I am not planning to wear pantyhose or any hosiery under my wedding gown. I hate panty hose and this is a July wedding. What is the etiquette of what to wear under your wedding dress? They are planning on wearing hosiery(they are 42 & 55, I'm 33) one even has hose for sandals. My aunt thinks I should wear stocking with garter belt. I don't want to scratch my legs all night. Please help.

Dear Hates Pantyhose,

Nylons are a nice look and more formal. However, if you are wearing open shoes, it is considered a faux pas to wear nylons. There are special hose with no toes, but these are difficult to find.

Bottom line: if you are wearing closed shoes, wear the nylons.

Best wishes,
