I am looking at a dress on eBay and am just wondering if poly bridal satin is a good material - ????

I've never heard of it but maybe you could email the ebay seller and ask for a swatch?

I agree with the Wedding Queen, and ask the seller to send you a swatch of the material. You could also go to your local fabric store and talk to a sales person there. They probably sell it, so not only will you be able to see what the material looks like, but since they are the fabric experts they should able to answer any questions you have.
