     Renting My Wedding Dress

Hello to readers,

I have been searching for a wedding dress to no avail, many styles I like, few I will be willing to pay for. I am excited about my upcoming wedding, but am a simple gal. Do not want something to keep for years and years to come, after all, it's the marriage part that counts.

Where in New Jersey or New York could I rent my wedding dress? I am willing to go as far as 4 hours to rent one. Thank you all for your help!

Hi Michelle:

It is very refreshing to hear you say that you think it's the marriage that counts! Of course it is but so many brides get caught up in the "perfection" whirlwind. On he other hand, you will want to look your best on your speccial day so...

Have you checked your local consignment shops? Ebay...David's bridal has a $99 sale often throughout the year.

I'm not sure about renting but I would open a phone book and calling all of the bridal stores and asking if they rent wedding dresses.

Hope this helps.
