It's our third marriage, each of us. We live in the country and are having the wedding at our house along with the reception to follow. I would like my fiance to wear starched jeans & shirt, with western jacket with of course, his hat and boots. I don't like too many of the western wedding dresses they have out there to offer, so what would be appropriate to wear. I would like to dress up as much as the situation will allow. I'm 50 yrs old, but everyone thinks I'm 40, wear a size 5.
What do I wear? I'm going crazy. I look forward to some feedback. Thank you.

Dear Western Wedding,
I can't help you much with your dress, but I can chime in about your groom's hat. Please remind him that hats are not worn indoors.
There is nothing wrong with you wearing slacks or jeans as well.
