I am having a small wedding with family and friends (not more than 50) and my fiancee says I can't wear a wedding dress. He said that I have to wear a regular dress or suit. I am 58 and have been married 2 times. I never had a nice wedding. I picked out a very nice wedding dress and he said I shouldn't wear it because it would upset his parents. Is this true? Now I don't know what to wear.
No, this is not true. You may wear any attire that fits the formality of your event. The only exception is the blusher veil. It is reserved for first time brides.
I agree, but you'll want to select a dress that is age appropriate and coordinates with the formality of your wedding. Many wedding dresses are designed with the 20 -36 aged woman in mind (think cinderella ball gown!) so try on lots of dresses to see which suit you.
