We are having a small casual wedding in June of 2006 and I was wondering what kind of wedding dress would be appropriate for that day considering it will be outside.

A few of the fabrics that would be good to consider for your wedding gown during the Summer are:
Chiffon; organdy; and marquisette.
Check with your local bridal salon. They will have more choices for you to think about.

Agreed.
Also, if you want to keep this very casual, you could even just wear a nice cotton dress. It won't be the typical 'wedding dress' but it will be simple and casual.
The dress doesn't always have to be formal in nature.
