What time of day for tea length dress?

What time of day is best for a tea-length dress or cocktail length dress?

Dear Time of Day,

You could wear them any time depending on the formality of the event. Typically the bride would wear a shorter dress earlier in the day for an informal wedding. Tea length could be for an informal daytime wedding or if the dress was more formal in nature it would be worn any time.

Best wishes,
