Why shouldnt i wear a head piece when renewing vows?
My husband and I went off and got married with no one there and now we are going to plan a wedding to renew our vows on our 2 year anniversary. I have been reading and you have said that it would be ok to wear a white dress, but then you said it wasnt ok to wear a head piece... why? I never got to wear one when I got married the first time because we were in the court house. Is there a respect issue? I was just wondering because I just want to have everything right about my wedding even though its renewing everything. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP???????

Actually, the only real rule is that you should not wear a veil. Second time brides should forgo a blusher veil that covers the face. This style is considered the traditional veiling option for 1st time brides and one of the only real DON'TS. Try substituting a hat, hair ornament or fresh flowers. Splurge and have a professional come to your home and create a glamorous up-do! But please be sure to schedule an appointment with your stylist before the big day to try out different styles and hair ornaments; no surprises of this kind needed!

I think a headpiece would be lovely. There are many forms of "headpieces. "You do not have to include a traditional tulle veil.
Why not consider Russian veiling (much like on a "cocktail hat?"
Headpieces or small cocktail hats, with or without Russian veiling can be a non-traditonal and acceptable answer to your dilemma.
Think about the style of your dress, your face shape, height & stature and have a headpiece custom made, if possible Gena Conti, Designer, Milliner http://www.genaconti.com
