Help !! Please... My Dress is to huge any advice?

I am getting married shortly and won't have time to purchase a new gown, I love the gown I have orginally purchased but I find I have lost a enormous amount of weight, unfortunately the person I hired said the dress can not be altered any further then what it has been I really love this gown would it look way out of place if I wore a belt with the gown? I know it sounds very silly crazy, has this ever been done?I really don't have time purchase a new gown, I love this gown so much and since I can't get it altered any further I just don't know what to do my folks will flip if they have to buy another gown as well, as myself I just can't afford it after working so hard and saving all my money getting this one altered any suggestions?

I think wearing a belt will look rather funny. Why don't you see if you can find another dress? It doesn't have to be a wedding dress and doesn't need to have a wedding dress price.

Dear KittyKat,

Maybe you can take the dress to get a second opinion from another reputable seamstress in your area. Why don't you try sinching it up in the back with a big brooch or a pin. It's very hard to suggest something without seeing the dress.

Good Luck,
