     Style concern

I got engaged in 97. During that time I picked out a wedding gown that I love. Unfortunately we broke up and I stil have the gown. The time is approaching where I may get engaged to a different guy. I have no ill feelings towards the ex or about wearing the gown. However, when I look at dresses on line, I feel like my dress will be too antiquated. While the gown is still beautiful and I can still fit it wonderfully, I don't want to look too "dated". I feel like it would be a giveaway. So should I wear the gown for the ceremony and put on a more "modern" dress for the reception or reinvest for an updated look?

These are all personal decisions only you can make. There is no etiquette behind this answer. Do what makes you feel like a beautiful bride.
