     black wedding dress

I picked out a knee length black dress for my second wedding. The ceremony is just immediate family. The wedding will be at 3:30 pm. I went for comfort, fit & style & my fiance is freaking out that it is black. I've seen lots of posts on colored dresses, but none specifically about black. Can I put his mind to rest that Black isn't a bad omen?

Thanks

Dear Second,

Black is perfectly fine as a wedding dress, even for first timers. It is classy, not foreboding.

No worries!
