can I wear my wedding dress again?

I was married civilly back in April and we are planning on having our marriage "blessed" by our church in September. Is it proper for me to wear my wedding dress again? My Mom says yes, my sister says no...

No, a blessing of the marriage is not a wedding. Please search our forum to see many other posts on this subject. Read more about blessing ceremonies here.

Happy Anniversary.

This is one time that your mother isn't correct and your sister is. The Wedding Queen is correct as well. It isn't proper to wear your dress as it isn't a wedding. This is supposed to be a small family, religious ceremony. Not much to it, really.
