eco-friendly or natural fabric to make a wedding dress
Hi! I'm planning to make my wedding as green as possible by using native prairie flowers for the bouquet and floral decorations, outdoor ceremony, local foods, etc. Not formal, but not casual either.
Are there certain fabrics/styles that would fit best with this effort or do you know of any green designers?
Thank you!

This is pretty new on the scene but I did find some information online suggesting hemp and hemp/silk blends for the eco-friendly. Also consider recycling and restoring to stay in the green theme. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com

Oh, I love Nancy's idea of recycling. Try a local consignment shop to see if you can pick up a used dress that you may be able to alter to suit you or even try Ebay for used dresses. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
