     he wants suit, not tux

Okay, here we go.....we are getting married at the chapel at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in August. The ceremony is at 4pm and a formal dinner right after. I want to wear a gown but he insist that he is only wearing a suit and not tux. He doesn't want me to wear a gown but a dress instead because he feels that I might make him look too under-dressed. What to do, please?!? I really want to wear a gown.

No worries...it's not really necessary for your groom to wear a tuxedo before 6 PM so go ahead and wear what you want.

Absolutely. Tuxes are supposed to be worn for night events.
