Hi, I'm new and I might have accidentally posted this already.

Height: just hovering over the 5 ft mark; Weight: need to lose at least 50 lbs by June ... started last week, have lost about 7 lbs.; First wedding; Oh, and I'm 63.

Desperatly needing some input as to dress. Don't want: bulky, stiff, heavy, full; want: soft, flowing, a gentle dress that will be kind to my body. :)

Any suggestions? TIA!

Are you looking for formal or informal?

I suggest something in a-line cut since thats good for any body type.

Check out online wedding sites by just entering wedding dress into a search engine though there are also links on this web site for it.

Mm, just suggestions.

I know that Nicole Miller, and Ulla-Maija make beautiful dresses that aren't so bridesy. Try Jessica McClintock too they make form flattering dresses.

hmmm.. sounds fun.. I somehow picture an etheral mother nature look.. silk.. or gauze.. empire waist (though if you are a large bust not sure if it works) it would flow gently around you and be very youthful. Or so it seems to me
