I have found the perfect gown but my wedding is not for almost 2 years. I would like to order it now in case it is discontinued. The salon said the gown would arrive in about 3 months and they would hold it until 2 months before the wedding to begin alterations. When I told my fiance he was quite adamant about not leaving the gown there. He wants to bring it home with us. He is worried they may go out of business. What should I do? Thanks for your help.

If you're sure this is the gown for you, absolutely sure, then go ahead and make the purchase, carefully reading the contract you'll have with the salon before making the purchase. Be sure to read about the refund policy and about alterations specifically. If you feel comfortable signing then make the purchase and pick the dress up at the salon. Make sure you understand how the dress should be stored to be sure it doesn't become damaged.
