     second wedding, length of dress

This is a second wedding. The groom is wearing a tux. We are both in our early sixties. Would it be appropriate for me to wear a long dress? The wedding will be at 5:00PM with a large reception to follow. What length dress should the Matron of Honor wear?

Dear Second Wedding,

Yes, it is appropriate for both of you to wear long gowns.

Enjoy!

My suggestion for the both of you is to wear a long dress. Since the ceremony and reception in the evening it is appropriate to wear a long length dress. As for the MOH, she wear a dress the compliments the formality of yours.

Have fun,
