wearing destination wedding to the at home reception
Is is proper for the bride to wear the wedding gown that she wore to her destination wedding at a separate reception a week later?

Dear Fosterfarm,
Absolutely. Some actually want to see the bride in her dress. But, it is the bride's choice.
Just an idea, if the dress is very formal and the belated reception is informal, a better choice may be showing a video of the wedding so the guests can see the bride in her dress. Actually, the video is a great tool to use anyway so guests can view the wedding.
