     wedding dress for older bride

What type of dress would you suggest for an older (50's) plus size? I want something more formal than a suit but not a gown with a train. Any suggestions?Crazy

Hmmm...a wedding dress for a mature, plus size woman would depend on what size you are and your measurements. Would you mind telling us your dress size and if you are more of an apple or pear shape?

OK, for health purposes a pear is much better shape than an apple (less fat around the heart area).

The best dress style for you would be an empire waist or a-line dress. No shiny type fabrics like silk for plus size brides. Silk will reflect light and make your body appear larger. Select matte finsh fabrics which will be more flattering. Choose the length to match the style and formality of your wedding.

When selecting accessories don't forget to choose size appropriate jewelry and flowers too.
