wedding dress for wheelchair bound bride

Hello, my name is Danni. I am 17 years old and engaged to a wonderful man named Brandon. Brandon is 24 and in the Army. About a year and a half ago, I was involved in a roll-over vehichle accident. As a result of that accident, I am now paralyzed from the waist down. I belive that god saved me that night, I belive the devil had different plans for me but god snatched me out of his hands and saved what he could of me. Brandon is now being deployed to Iraq and we have yet to set a date to be joined before god. Although we have not set a date, I have been browsing the web and wondering, is there going to be problems with my wearing a marvolus dress? Am I going to look silly in a dress? Is it going to bunch up at the tummy like some of my shirts? These are all things that worry me. I worry that I won't find one to fit me right. I have alot of worries, I suppose I am just looking for a little advise on EVERY aspect of this wedding, and how I can make it my own little "adapted" party. Thanks so much!

Dearest Danni,

I am very sorry to hear about your unfortunate accident. You should be proud of yourself for being so strong and happy with life.

As for your dress options. You can pretty much wear watever you like with the exception of Ball Gown dresses, or A-line dresses. Look for a dress thats two peices fitted or a classic fitted dress would look beautiful too. The fact that it could bunch up a little when you sit is not important because that happends to everyone.

Good Luck with everything and don't be afraid to look beautiful.

Sincerely,

Don't be afraid to try on styles that you didnt think you would like. Once you have a dress on it could be a different story.
