     wedding veil style

My gown is very simple and elegant. I have attched the pictures below. It is one piece, all white, aline, silk with no embellishments of any kind. I know I want a 2 tiered elbow length wedding veil, but I was leaning toward one with scattered rhinestones on it. Would this be ok to wear with this gown or should my veil be plain as well? I have included pics of the veils I am considering. Also, I included a pic of the dress I have picked out for my maid of honor. It is made of shimmery satin with a chiffon top. I love the dress. My concern is the fact that it is a shimmery fabric. Will this be ok for them to wear? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. sorry 4 the black dots on the skirt. this dress was custom made for me, and i had thought of adding rhinestones at those points, which I decided against.

Marcy:

I think this veil will look just fine with your dress. As you say, the dress is plain with no embelishments. Very lovely dress, by the way ... and a bit more than your simple "A-Line" description suggests.

Just make sure the satin edging on the veil is a good match with the dress. Satin edging is not my personal favorite, because it cuts the "line" of the dress, but yours is free of extra detail... so you should have no problem there. Are you wearing a tiara or headpiece with the veil? If so, make sure it also coordinates with the rhinestones and satin.

The rhinestones, too, will be just fine. Watch what (and how much) additional jewelry you wear.
I would stick with more rhinestones or chrystal (something sparkley too).

Your bridesmaids dresses look lovely. I do not see a problem --- shimmer or not,
They will not outshine the bride.

thanks for the info! i am glad it will be ok to wear. i was thinking of wearing a rhinestone choker and bracelet as well. i also have rhinestone accent heels, not that the shoes are seen much. and i will not be wearing a tiara. thanks for the info with the bridesmaids gowns. i was thinking they may outshine me, but you have made me feel better. thanks for everything!
