     Fresh flowers for bridal hairstyle

This is my second wedding and I am trying to forego traditional items and go with something else. My hair is long- down to waist and think I will be doing half down & half up with flowing curls-

I like the idea of having fresh flowers in my hair but not sure how long they will stay fresh looking for or if I should stick with a certain type of flower.

Any suggestions?

SmileSmileCool Fresh flowers are great. If they are kept refrigerated until they are put into your hair they should be fine. Have your florist wire up single blooms of whatever you like and your hairdresser can have a great time. In terms of wilting I guess i would warn you away from sweet peas, tulips, hydrangea, and super delicate types. Gardenias , though they do turn to ivory in the open air, are georgeous and like wearing incredible natural perfume that everyone likes. Other good ones are spray roses, daisies, freesia, stephanotis, alstromeria....really almost everything...I would say just go for it...they are perfect for a non princess wedding!
