     Proper Veil Length

Hi, I'm getting married May 2009. I haven't chosen a time yet, but the ceremony will start between 1 and 4pm. I want a semi-formal church wedding and have my dress picked out (attached). My hair is waist length and will be worn half-up, half-down. This way, my hair will not fall past the drape.

Thus, with butterfly sleeves, what is the proper wedding veil length? Thank you very much for your time.

Congratulations! Your dress is gorgeous! I would recommend an Angel-cut veil that should fall below the point where your sleeves end. This way, the veil would not cut at the wrong spot, and will not clash with the fabulous style of your dress. You can remove the veil after the ceremony, so the guests could admire the full glory of your dress at the reception. Enjoy the wedding!
