Red veil on cream and white strapless gown?

I need help with my wedding look. My husband is wearing cream coloured suit with cherry red shirt. To complement this look, my wedding planner advised me to put on cherry red veil on my cream and white coloured strapless gown. The top is beaded with ivory beads. No red trimming on the gown.
I am sceptical about this idea especially since I haven't seen any bride wearing this color combination. What's the best thing to do?

During my entire career I have never heard of red veils. I've seen white or off-white and even champagne color veils trimmed with red, navy blue and gold. But red veil? I doubt it. Your guests will be shocked. You don't want that to happen. Have a cream or white color veil. You are not even supposed to coordinate with the groom in colors: leave it to the groomsmen. Good luck!
