     Veil length matters

Hello,

Please, some advice in choosing the length of my veil: My dress is strapless and tea-length; the top of the back of the dress begins below the bust-line with some pearl beading and embroidery around the fitted bodice. The material is an ivory organza. I plan to wear a lightweight wrap or short jacket, but I have not bought one yet.

One recommendation was to have the veil come to just below the waistline. Are there any other recommendations as to what might look best with this style of dress? I really have no idea what to choose!

I have attached the two pictures I have of the dress. Most likely, I will tie the bow in the front of the dress.

A side note: This is an informal, afternoon wedding in May.

Thank you for your time.

Dear Ginalee,

A short veil is worn for informal daytime weddings.

Best wishes,
