     What kind of veil?

Hi. I'm new here and am in a real quandry about what sort of veil to wear. I attach a picture of my dress. We are having a quite traditional ceremony, in a church, and with a reception at a hotel. I was originally thinking of something very plain and short but now am thinking of something a little more elaborate, like a long mantilla or lace edged drop veil. Help!!

Beautiful dress. What time of day is the ceremony?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Your dress is gorgeous and it is contemporary in style. Therefore, avoid veils with lace - it will interfere with the style of your dress. You can find a 2-tier veil with the long 2nd tier for your formal ceremony, and then detach the long portion of it and only leave a short one for the reception. You can also opt for a longer 1-tier veil to be completely removed for the reception. In this case, I would have a flower/flowers to decorate your hair when the veil would be removed (talk to your hair stylist!). Enjoy the wedding!
