can i wear silver shoes with off-white bridal gown?
Hi! My bridal gown is off-white mikado silk, and I am considering to use a pale silver sandals shoes (see attached picture for the exact pair of shoes). My gown will be the traditional long and ballgown type and since my shoes are open toed sandals, thus I was thinking that the shoes will not be visible most of the time. I wanted to approach this from a practical standpoint since I will be able to use silver shoes again after the wedding, whereas white shoes will just be worn once. Do you think wearing silver shoes will be very noticeable and not apt? I would appreciate your advice as while I want to be practical, I also do not want my shoes to ruin the overall wedding attire. Thanks! Evelyn

Dear Evelyn,
I couldn't see the shoes, sorry. If the shoes are in the same formality as the gown you are fine. Silver is a nice color. You may wish to accent your attire with some silver to bring that color into the picture. This way if your shoes are seen, it is not a problem.

Of course you can wear silver shoes. We love it when brides are different and choosing a color that accents the dress rather than match it completely. Plus if you have any rhinestone, embroidery, and/or crystal embellishments on your dresss the shoes will compliment them. It has been very trendy lately for brides to have their shoes in a color like gold, light blue and SILVER!!! I think your silver shoes will look perfect and add a fashionable touch to your wedding day look.
