Dear Mindy,

It depends upon the formality of your event and time of day. Your dress seems informal. If that is the case and your wedding is during the day, a short veil would be fine. The tiara would seem over the top.

If this is being held during the evening and is semi formal to formal, you could wear both.

If this is being held during the day and everyone is dressed formally, you could wear either or both.

Best wishes,

Dear Mindy,

There are lots of options now in hair accessories and you can definitely incorporate both hair accessories and a veil into your wedding day look! With the hair accessories, you can do a hair comb on either the side or top. You could also do hairsticks, or even a beautiful hair pin! The options are endless!

And for your veil, some brides choose to only wear their veil during the ceremony, while others wear their veil throughout the ceremony and reception. If you decide not to wear your veil during the reception, having hair accessories help dress up your hairstyle.

Best Wishes!
