Adding years of parents marriage to program

Hi,

On the back of my program I am going to Thank our parents. Both of our parents have been married for over 35 years so I wanted to say something along the lines of... (very rough draft)

We could not have asked for two better examples of

love, happiness and the true meaning of marriage.

Mom & Dad Flynn – Married 35 years

Mom & Dad Nunes – Married 36 years

But is it not appropriate to put how long our parents have been married? I have never seen it done, but I think it's terrific that they have been married so long. Thank you!

Dear Thoughtful,

We usually do not add personal biographies or too much personal information on wedding programs. But, this is so short and very sweet. I can't see any fault with including this. It is very thoughtful of you to honor them in this manner.

Best wishes,
