Alternate name for step father on the wedding program

I have a quick question. My daughter is getting married and I read that the wording for the program should read "Mother and Step Father of the bride" however, my daughter does not have a close relationship with my husband and doesn't want to use the word "step father". Any idea on a better wording for that so I don't offend either of them?

You could use "Mother-of-the-bride, Jane Smith and her husband John Smith".
