     Brother of Bride as Usher

My daughter is getting married this Sat., Sept 16. She has a small wedding party consisting of a maid of honor, best man, 1 groomsman, ring bearer and 2 ushers. One of the ushers is my son (age 15) and the brother of the bride and the other is the nephew of the groom (age 17). They will not be dressed in a tux as the BM and groomsman. My question is, after my son walks me down the isle, does he then sit with me? The same will go for the other usher - he will walk down his grandmother - will he then sit with her (his mother is the MOH and there is no other family)?

Also, if they have the typical receiving line, would the ushers be a part of it?

I say typical, because they are thinking of going back to each pew and greeting their guests that way. Wording on the program for this would be "Please remain seated after the ceremony. The Bride and Groom will greet and dismiss each row."

Does this wording seem awkward or is it me?

I know I have asked a lot in one posting, but I appreciate any input you have.
