How to list a deceased father of the groom?

I am wondering what are some ways to honor a deceased FOG. What about having him be the best man? How would that work, if at all? My fiance is torn about who to choose for the best man and this was an option that was brought to his attention. I want to make sure he is honored properly as they were very close!
Thanks for any help on this sensitive matter! Smile

The best man cannot be deceased, so, unless I am not understanding you properly that option won't work. But, we do have many other posts that describe how to honor a deceased loved one during the wedding ceremony. Use the search tool to locate those posts on the forum.
