How do you word the wedding program to mention who will give the bride away? Should it be included at all?

This is an outdated reference since we don't really consider that we are being given away by our fathers any longer. Most of us are self-sufficient women, many with our own homes. It's better to use the words escorting the bride or bride's escort.

Please be sure to post your question in the proper category so you'll be sure to get a timely response. Smile
