Is it OK to have a memorial service for deceased parent before Wedding?

We don't know how to include my daughters fiance' deceased mother in the wedding we want to since he is the last child and the only one who his mother was not present fot the wedding. Please help me make this experience go easier for him and his family? Thanks Sandi
