Listing flower girl's parents on the wedding program

My daughter is 3 1/2 years old. My fiance has been around since she was 18 months old. Her biological father hasn't seen her since she was 11 months. My daughter calls my fiance Daddy and we have a 4 month old as well.

My daughter is our flower girl. In the programs how do i word it? Daughter of the couple? Daughter of the bride? I dont want to hurt his feelings and I dont want her to see it years down the road and be angered by it.

Please Help!

Thanks!

Dear Taytum,

She is too young to be your flower girl. But, if you feel you must include her as such, you could list her by her name only. It is your choice to list her either way. No one can really make this decision for you. But, if your fiance feels like a father to your daughter, it seems logical to list her as such.

Best wishes,
