Postponed wedding due to Major Hurricance: Do I need new programs
My wedding got canceled due to a recent major hurricane literally 48 hours prior to the date. Everything was ready to go for the big day. Making a long story short, my wedding is this weekend and my programs were pre-printed with the initial date of the wedding. It is too late to get them re-printed and it would cost lots more money. Is it tacky to use the same programs so they dont go to waste. I was thinking of inserting little cards in the programs made with our wedding logo on them with the new date and a short blurb below thanking our guests for understanding and support during the change or making a few light hearted comments on the card to make light of such a dismal situation. No really sure what to do here. How do I make this work or is this something I should even be concerned about. The location is still the same, as well as the ceremony and bridal party. Please reply soon.

Dear Rainedout,
I don't think this is anything to worry about. Your guests know about the change of date and why. If they do notice, most likely they won't think anything negative about it.
