Wed Ceremony Now Private (after Invitations sent)

Hello!!!

My Fiance' and I decided to move the wedding ceremony up and it will be private (a few friends & family members). The Family Dinner & Reception plans remain the same...

My question: how do I tactfully "update" our guests about the changes? I have an idea of the letter I would like to send out. Please advise if this is sufficient...(see below)

Dear Family & Friends:

XXX and I have decided to have a private Wedding ceremony. Details for the Family Dinner and Reception are noted below. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience the changes might have caused.

(Outline dates and times of Dinner & Reception)

We thank you for your understanding and support! Please call if you need directions XXX 555-555-1234 or XX 555-555-4321.

Dear SS,

The letter is fine except that it should be addressed to each guest personally, meaning that each guest or couple receives a revised invitation addressed to them by their names. Please also note that all should have been invited to the reception if they were invited to the wedding before your plans changed.

Best wishes,
