     Wedding Programs and Step Parents

Hi,

I am writing my wedding programs and I wasn't sure what the etiquette was on mentioning step parents. My Fiance's parents are both re-married, but so far on the program I just have listed Parents of the Groom: and the name of his father and his mother. I don't want to hurt any feelings, but I don't want to downplay anyone's role either. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Dear Erin,

This is a personal decision. You may include them or just list all biological parents. If any of the step parents are acting as hosts, because they contributed, you may want to include them.

Best wishes,
