Widowd father remarrying - wording the wedding programs

My 71 yr. old widowed father is remarrying this spring. I am in charge of the wedding ceremony programs. This is a bittersweet day for me, happy for dad, but I miss my mom terribly. How do I do the programs? This combined family will now have 7 children, 18 grandchildren. Do I list everyone? Help.

Dear Daughter,

It is best to stick to the wedding, bridal party, and any special aspects of the ceremony. If anyone is to be seated as special, this should be noted. It would not be advisable to mention your mother because this is your father's wedding.

Mentioning all of the children and grandchildren is not necessary.

Best wishes,
