gender neutral wording for wedding programs

I have men standing on my side for the wedding and my fiance has women standing on his. I don't really want to be calling a man a bridesmaid or a girl a groomsman. Would it be strange to list "bride's attendants" and "groom's attendants" in the program to keep it gender neutral?

Hello Amy715, that is not strange at all and will work perfectly.
