How does the seating and program listing go when referring to divorced parent (gooms father and the mother of the groom are divorced and both are remarried)?
thanks

The mother of the bride will sit on the first pew with her new husband and family around her. Likewise for the mother of the groom. The fathers would be seated in approximately the third pew depending on how much space the mother needs for her family.

When the announcements are made and in the program:

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Archer, mother of the bride

or Evelyn and Norman Archer, mother of the bride

Then announce the father of the bride with his guest or alone.

Then would come the mother of the groom again as Mr and Mrs. Norbert Franklin, mother of the groom or Francine and Norbert Franklin, mother of the groom
