     wedding program wording

I am helping a friend make programs for her upcoming wedding. What is the proper etiquette in listing the bridal party? Should the Groomsmen be listed first or the Bridesmaids? I know the married "Maid of Honor" is a "Matron of Honor", but what is a married "Bridesmaid" called? Please help the wedding is in a month!

Dear Program Problems,

You would list the wedding party in the order in which they appear to the guests. So, the groomsmen would be listed first.

A bridesmaid is a bridesmaid even if she is married. There is no distinction. I actually had never thought about that before. Good question!

Best wishes,
