     wedding program wording for stepfamilies

I have been married three times. My son is getting married for the first time and is having a Catholic wedding. I had my son with my first husband, I remarried the second time and had a daughter with the second husband and he is still very devoted to my son (his step son). I have remarried for the third time. We have no children together but he is still the groom's stepfather too. What is the proper wording for listing step parents and stepfamilies on the wedding program? Thank you for any advice.

Dear Steps,

The wedding program is simply to inform the guests of the rituals and sequence of events. Family is listed so the guests know who they are. We don't list family history. So, probably the least confusing for your guests would be to list your current husband as step-father. You two will be together--less confusion.

Best wishes,
