Hi, My fiancee's brothers wedding is in May 2006. He got engaged 3 months ago. We got engaged last week. We have been together over 10 years, his brother 1 year just now. They have half of their siblings in CO and we are in IN, so they will be coming out for the brothers wedding in May. How long should I wait to have my wedding? I have been waiting forever for him to propose and now he has, it's the same time as his brother. I know that I can't do it before, But I don't want to wait any longer than I have to. Thanks

It is so considerate for you to schedule yours before his brother's wedding. There are so many who just don't care. Thank you.
I wish there was a magic number of days or months. It is more of a feel for what is right than definites. I would imagine waiting at least two months should be fine. This would give everyone who has to travel time for scheduling and recouping. Hopefully the weather is good in IN in July and August :)
