What is the cheapest time of year to have a wedding? (in terms of reception sights, catering, bands...) I know that the winter months are probably the cheapest(Dec.-March), but other than that??? Is fall cheaper than spring?? Any info would be great.

If you are thinking of only having your wedding reception indoors at a reception venue then probably the least expensive month would be January and Friday nights and Sunday afternoons are usually less expensive than a Saturday evening. call around to local catering halls to get information on pricing where you live since rates can vary depending on what area of the country you are living. Now, if you wanted to have your wedding outdoors in the spring or summner you could do so in a less expensive way by renting a tent and catering the event yourself. It all depends on what your expectations are. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
