Bride takes father's right or left arm

I have seen the bride proceed down the aisle on the right arm of her father and then at another wedding the bride was on the left arm of her father. Is one way or the other more correct?

Traditionally the bride is escorted on the father's right arm however, the clergy in some places of worship requests it be otherwise. In addition, it is more comfortable for the bride to come in on the father's right arm so that he does not have to trample over the train of the bride's dress. Although either way is perfectly fine. If your clergy does not have a preference, you can decide which is most acceptable for you.
