Catholic and Non-Catholic getting married in church

My fiance is Pentacostal and has no plans of becoming a Catholic. I have always dreamed of getting married in a church. What can I do?Crazy

Happily, there are options!
First, is your fiancee willing to marry in a Catholic Church without converting? If so, your priest may marry you. Find out. If not, there are other Christian churches that will marry you. For example, I have done ceremonies in Episcopal, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Unitarian and Quaker churches.
There are churches that will allow you to "rent" their their premises and bring in your own minister/s.
It may take a bit of research and effort on your part, but your dream can come true!
Blessings!

We are also a Catholic-Protestant interchurch couple. From our experience this type of marriage can be richly enhanced by being supportive and learning about each other's faith traditions rather than trying to convert each other. Smile

Rev. Susanna has given you sound advice, especially about talking to your priest. There may be other matters to discuss, such as whether or not to have a full wedding mass or stick with the ceremony alone, since you two will not be taking communion together.

God bless and guide you in your decisions.
