     Changing names

I am not really sure if this is where I should post these questions, but here it goes. My fiance' and I have decided to change our last names by using a combination of both. I looked up my counties rules on that and I have downloaded all the paperwork for it. They say it takes about 6 to 8 weeks to process. My question is do I do this before or after we get married? What do I put on the marriage license if our names haven't changed yet? I am just really confused when to start this process. HELP!!

Thanks in Advance!!Smile

Your best bet would be to call your local marriage bureau and ask them. I do know that when signing the marriage license with me, my couples sign their maiden names, regardless of how they will change their names.
