Father, step father or grandfather walking bride down the aisle

My father has never been a constant part of my life but he has always let me know that he loves me. Until the last couple of years I only saw him once or twice a year, sometimes only once every few years. I love my father but the reality is that he's irresponsible and unreliable. My stepfather however, has raised me since I was 3 years old. While my stepfather did raise me, we don't really get along that well lately. I can't ever remember hearing him say i love you, and only a couple times hearing I'm proud of you. We can't be in the same room for ten minutes without arguing but my mom swears up and down he loves me. I acknowledge the fact that he's always been there for me and provided for me, but my father is my father. Any suggestions? I would have both of them walk me but my stepfather has made it very clear to me that he dislikes my real father. Another idea I had was to have my grandfather walk me down the aisle. This would mean a lot to him as my grandmother just suddenly passed away from cancer. Would this be appropriate?
