How can avoid guests arriving late to the wedding ceremony?
How can we effectively make sure that there are no late entries to the wedding ceremony? The church will only allow half an hour prior to the ceremony for entry as they do 3 weddings a day, plus Mass in the evening. We also don't want our vows interrupted due to someone sneaking in late.

You really can't control guests' arrival time so that no guest arrives late. After all, there's traffic and lots of other day to day issues that could make a guest late. As a good host, we wouldn't want one of our loved ones to miss the ceremony due to lateness, possibly beyond their control.
List the time of the ceremony as the time of the ceremony and hope your guests can/will comply and know proper etiquette. If you list the ceremony time as earlier and some early birds (like me - I'm always early) get there before you'll have guests waiting outside or arriring during the wedding before or the clean up. If they arrive exactly at the time you list, and that's not really the time of your ceremony, then you have guests waiting 30 minutes or more for the wedding to begin, which is not very considerate either.
Perhaps have an usher positioned at the door to help guests get seated as quietly as possible so as not to disturb the ceremony.
Please try not to strive for utter perfection. You'll likely get disappointed. Stuff happens. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
